Clinical Supervision & Consultation
Supervision for Associates
I am approved in Washington to supervise associate-level therapists (LMHCA, LMFTA, LICSWA).
My supervision style focuses primarily on compassionate, non-judgmental exploration of countertransference and the “person of the therapist.” How are you feeling about, toward, or on behalf of your clients? Where is the balance between being authentically yourself and projecting your personal values? What do you believe your role is in your clients’ lives?
Of course, there is also always room to talk about the practical stuff like documentation, scheduling, billing, ethics, laws, and so on.
But most importantly: I promise not to just talk the whole time!
